DAY - 01 Welcome to Leh (3505 meters / 11567 feet)

"As you reach the Kushok Bakula Airport in Leh, meet a Yatra representative who ensures your seamless arrival at the hotel. After filling yourself up with a hearty breakfast, take some time to rest and acclimatize yourself with the city. Later, visit the Shanti Stupa that is perched comfortably atop a hill and is visible from a distance as you drive through scenic landscapes to reach the spot. Spend some time exploring the premises and get a peek into Buddhist mythology. Appreciate the colorful paintings that adorn the walls of the stupa. End the beautiful evening at the market where you can buy souvenirs like thangkas, fine-quality pashminas, and decorative handicrafts. Spend the night in the comforts of your hotel room after a delectable dinner."

DAY - 02 A Visit to Sham Valley

"Wake up to a beautiful morning and prepare yourself for a sightseeing tour of the Sham Valley. With a wide array of interesting places for tourists, we begin with one of the key attractions- the Hall of Fame. Walk through the corridors of the place as you see the weapons used by Indian soldiers in wars and the documents recovered during through the years. It was built by the India Army to commemorate the sacrifice of soldiers who lost their lives fighting for us. Our next stop is the Spituk Monastery- an 11th-century structure known for the statue of Lord Buddha that it houses and the panoramic views of the beautiful Indus Valley. Stop by the majestic Gurudwara Patthar Sahib. A poignant representation of a beautiful synergy of religions, this was built by the Lamas of Leh in 1517 to honor Guru Nanak Dev on his visit here. The next halt will shock you, surprise you, and leave you in awe! Witness a phenomenon that seemingly defies the law of gravity at the Magnetic Hill. It has been noticed that a vehicle parked on neutral gear on this metallic road slides up and further on its own at this place. We continue driving through beauty that feasts the eyes at every step and arrives at the confluence of the Indus and Zanskar Rivers. The long, yet exciting day ends at the hotel where we stay overnight after you gorge on some tasty dinner."

DAY - 03 Leh - Nubra (125 Km /5-6 Hrs ) via Tour of Khardungla Pass 18832 Ft. Nubra Valley, Hundur & Sand Dunes

"Refuel your energy with a healthy breakfast and don your adventurer’s hat as we drive to the Nubra Valley for camping- via the Khardung La Pass. The highest motorable road on Earth, driving through the Khardung La Pass is a record of its kind and your moment of glory. To add to this feeling are the amazing snow-capped peaks and magnificent mountains that stand tall as you drive along. Making the trip more momentous, we cross the bridge laid out on a glacier- a phenomenon mentioned in the Guinness Book of World Records. As we reach the Nubra Valley, the white sand dunes that distinguish the place await you. Watch out for the two-humped Bactrian Camel who is only found in this part of India. Enjoy your time enjoying the sheer expanse of the sand dunes and spend the night at the camp."

DAY - 04 Transfer from Nubra Valley to Leh

"After your breakfast at the camp, visit Diskit Monastery en route to Leh. The magnificent Diskit Gompa dates back to the 14th century and owes its inception to Changzem Tserab Zangpo – a follower of Tsong-kha-pa. At the centre of this monastery is an elevated cupola, which stands adorned with a colourful fresco that illustrates the Tashilhunpo Gompa of Tibet. There are a number of shrines inside the monastery like Kangyu-lang, Tsangyu-lang, etc. Also, hundreds of Mongolian and Tibetan texts have found their storehouse inside these temples. Diskit Gompa has quite an interesting legend attached to it. It is believed that a Mongol demon once lived here and was considered to be a sworn enemy of Buddhism. Enroute Hot Lunch and drive back to Leh, check-in at the hotel and relax. In the evening, you may enjoy a leisurely walk to the local market, followed by dinner and overnight stay."

"After an early breakfast, leave for the mesmeric Pangong Tso en route visiting Shey Palace. The Palace and Monastery of Shey, an impressive complex on a hill, was constructed on the orders of King Deldan Namgyal in 1655 AD. It houses one of the largest golden Buddha statues in the country. After the visit, continue towards Pangong, passing through Changla pass, which is around 5360 metres high. Enroute Hot lunch,Pangong Lake, situated at 4267 metres above sea level, is famed for its serenity.
